Greetings Family & Friends,

Well, it is that one time each year that I reach out and ask you to consider a donation to the Navy SEAL Foundation via The Tampa Bay Frogman Swim.

Each year, the entire FL Doolittle Clan participates in the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim (TBFS); this year, Ryan & I will be swimming along with an old teammate of mine (Darren McBurnett), while Sean kayaks for Ryan. Katie will provide logistical support and Meg will be providing emotional support from Australia (a long story).

We are doing this JAN 5-km swim across chilly Tampa Bay to raise money and awareness for the Navy SEAL Foundation... the adventure takes place on Sunday, 14 JAN. If you are local, and you have never seen this inspirational event... then please consider coming to this 14th annual swim; specifically, please come to the Memorial Ceremony as the sun is rising and the Special Operations Jump Team parachutes in with our nation's flag... if you have never seen it, it's a great morning. Please come out and visit during sunrise at Gandy Beach.

If you were to ever doubt the importance of this fundraiser... all those doubts will melt away as you hear the names of each teammate we've lost since 9/11 being read as the Color Guard presents our nation's flag and the sun starts coming up over Tampa.

One of the primary efforts of the Foundation is supporting the Gold Star Family program; helping to take care of surviving spouses and family members after our nation's warriors pay the ultimate price.
