The Tampa Bay Frogman Swim purpose is to support the Navy SEAL Foundation whose mission is to provide critical support for the warriors, veterans, and families of Naval Special Warfare. The swim presents a challenging endeavor (3.5 miles across Tampa Bay in January) to provide a small reminder of the hardships endured by our nation's elite and silent warriors while encouraging others to support and donate to the cause.

I'm swimming this year to raise awareness of our Nation's fallen and their Gold Star families. As a nation of freedom, we must never forget the soldiers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who love and miss them. Freedom is not free.

My swim is also for the three retired Navy SEAL members of my family and for the families of their UDT/SEAL brothers who they have lost whether in training accidents or in combat.
